Author of International Ram Chandra series Bestsellers like The Scion of Ikshvaku, Sita: Warrior of Mithila, and Raavan: The Enemy of Aryavarta, Amish Tripathi recently visited Pacific Mall NSP Pitampura to launch the fourth offing in the series, ‘The War of Lanka’. At the book launch, Amish Tripathi shared the anecdotes while writing the novel and the pre-release jitters he gets before the books go into readers' hands.
He magnanimously distributed the signed copies of his recent work, The War of Lanka, to his fans and lovers, totalling up to nearly 500 people gathered at the mall. Amish Tripathi also gave writing tips to budding writers and authors and also had witty replies to give to the audience’s questions.
Amish Tripathi is given credit for reviving the reading culture in India, which was almost decadent and a thing of the past. He had been writing proactively since 2014, and his works have given wings to fly to writers who considered writing novels as a subsidiary career option or a mere hobby. He talked about shattering misconceptions as the most significant high to success.
Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group, said, “Pacific Mall NSP was glad to host Amish Tripathi and his innumerable fans who came to the mall to get a glimpse or have an interaction with him. The world he creates in his books is surreal and magnificent. Pacific Malls have always created a creatively transpiring environment where new ideas are born or take shape. It will continue to do so in the future as well.”
