Mumbai: This week on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, hosted by the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, audiences are in for an emotional and memorable episode. The spotlight falls on Praveen Nath, an irrigation department worker from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Praveen’s inspiring journey to the hot seat highlights his grit, determination, and the power of seizing opportunities, making him a true role model for viewers.

During the episode, a heartwarming exchange unfolded when Amitabh Bachchan reminisced about Kanpur and its culinary delights, leading to a delightful revelation about his son, Abhishek Bachchan. Bachchan asked Praveen, “What is the specialty of the food there that you want to talk about?” Praveen enthusiastically mentioned the famous Thaggu Ke Laddoos and how the hit film Bunty Aur Babli was shot in Kanpur. He shared how he had visited the shoot location, only to be stopped from watching but managed to catch glimpses of the action.

Amitabh Bachchan responded, "You're absolutely right. I was going to say the same thing. Bunty Aur Babli was indeed shot there. Abhishek specifically chose that location for the shoot so he could eat those laddoos over and over again. The shooting actually took place right in front of the shop where the laddoos are made. Abhishek especially loves those laddoos, and everyone who worked on the film wanted to have Kanpur’s famous laddoo."

Adding to the heartwarming episode, Praveen shared a treasured memory from his school days when Amitabh Bachchan’s movie Hum was released. He fondly recalled sending a letter to Mr. Bachchan along with a photograph of the superstar. To his amazement, the Bollywood legend not only signed the picture but also sent it back, leaving a lasting impression on young Praveen.
