Anjita Poonia and Dheeraj Chaddha join &TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein

In the upcoming episodes of &TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein, viewers will see television sweethearts Swati (Tanvi Dogra) and Indresh (Ashish Kadian) sharing a dreamy and beautiful bond and more than one surprise. Introducing two new entries in the show is Anjita Poonia as Sameeksha and to play the role of her father Dheeraj Chaddha is Mehul Nisar. Both the artists have made a significant impression in the television industry overtime with their commendable work. Recognised by their huge fan base, viewers are in for a treat with their appearances in the show. 

Sharing her enthusiasm on playing the role of Sammy aka Sameeksha, Anjita Poonia shares, “I am thrilled to be a part of Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein, this is the first mythology show that I will be a part of. I have seen the work the show has put out so far and absolutely enjoyed the storyline. My mother was more excited than me on finding out as she is a huge fan of the show. My character Sammy is the exact opposite from me in real life, she is not fond of her Indian culture and is a rebel without a cause. She is a modern woman, who pursued her studies in the US. Hence, I feel that it is challenging to on such roles but at the same time, it is equally fun and engaging. Working with Mehul sir and the team is going to be a great experience, they are all very warm and extremely capable. I am looking forward to seeing the audiences’ reaction to this whole new side of me.” 

Mehul Nisar who will be seen as Dheeraj Chaddha shares, “I am very happy to essay my character, he is very fun loving and jovial. He proudly calls himself DC and is a resort owner. A proud Punjabi father who is a single parent to his pampered and loving daughter. While DC is deeply rooted to his pind, his daughter comes with a flamboyant nature and aloof from the nuances of her native place. The father-daughter duo run the resort together. It is incredible to be shooting in Silvasa, I am eager to see the responses of the viewers.” Swati and Indresh who are with child have faced plenty of hurdles and to escape from the woes of Devi Paulomi (Sara Khan) and her evils, the couple make a trip to see Santoshi Maa ka Ashram. After having met with an accident they end up in a resort close by. Embracing their love for one another, the two will be seen in moments of pure bliss. Swati will be seen adorning new looks that will come as a surprise to the audience.
