Anna and Mahendra’s friendship turns into business rivalry on Sony SAB’s new show ‘Bhakharwadi’

Sony SAB’s latest offering Bhakharwadi created in collaboration with JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, is all set to amaze the audiences with its unique concept and much revered cast. Bringing together the actors like Deven Bhojani and Paresh Ganatra, the show portrays a sweet and sour relationship between two families, having ideological differences. Anna (Deven Bhojani) is glad to meet Mahendra Thakkar (Paresh Ganatra) as his new neighbour but this new found friendship will soon turn into a business rivalry. While Anna is a strict ideological man, Mahendra believes in changing with time. Their children, Gayatri (Akshita Mudgal) and Abhishek (Akshay Kelkar) meet for the first time and drama begins with Gayatri’s dog – Biscuit. Although the situation ends on a happy note, there’s a bigger problem arising. On one hand, Anna prepares to conduct a pooja for the 100-years completion of his ancestral Bhakharwadi business ‘Gokhale Bandhu’, whereas, Mahendra Thakkar’s family celebrates on receiving the license to open a snacks shop in the same locality as Anna’s. The twist arises when someone comes at Anna’s house at night and while meddling with his cupboard, drops the box of ‘Secret Masala’ for his Bhakharwadi. Will Anna find out who it was? How will he react on knowing about Mahendra’s shop?
