Annual Conference on Philosophy at PU

Chandigarh, November 30, 2018: Department of Philosophy, Panjab University Chandigarh, is organizing the 12th Annual Conference of Bharatiya Mahila Darshnik Parishad sponsored by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi from 2-4 December 2018. Delegates from different institutes spread all over the country will be participating in this conference. There will be two symposiums, eight endowment lectures and four parallel sessions on Indian Philosophy and Ethics, Epistemology and Ontology, Yoga Philosophy and Women related Issues duly chaired by distinguished delegates chairing the Sessions. Prof. Raj Kumari Sinha is the President of the organization and Prof. Asha Maudgil is the General Secretary, supported by the Chairperson, Department of Philosophy Dr.Shivani Sharma, Dr.Pankaj Srivastav, Prof H. P. Sah, Lallan Baghel, Dr. Sudhir Baweja and Prof. Meenu Gupta. The theme of the conference “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the World is one family) will be the undercurrent of the entire conference deliberations.
