Annual Cultural Fest – `Chorus 2023` commences at Sharda University
Sharda University is organising the Annual Cultural Fest- Chorus 2023 from 23rd March to 25th March 2023. The theme for this year’s fest is "Symphony Of Senses", a perfect encapsulation of the celebration of richness in our cultural diversity.
Sharda University is organising the Annual Cultural Fest- Chorus 2023 from 23rd March to 25th March 2023. The theme for this year’s fest is "Symphony Of Senses", a perfect encapsulation of the celebration of richness in our cultural diversity. Apart from Sharda, thousands of students from various universities and colleges of Delhi, Ncr including Amity, GL Bajaj, Galgotias university and many others renowned intuitions participated in this fest. The event will also witness the attendees from over 70 countries including dignitaries, university faculty, and participants. During the three-day event university will be hosting more than 50 events like Debate, Fashion Show, Monologue, JAM, Stand-up comedy, Gully Cricket, Rap war, Open Mic, Nukkad Natak, Treasure Hunt, Futsal amongst others.
During the inaugural session, Padma Shri Guru Geeta Mahalik gave an elegant and beautiful dance performance which enthralled the audience. The 11th edition of the Chorus began with the lamp lighting followed by various dance performances and melodious musical performances.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Parma Nand, Dean, Sharda School of Engineering and Technology stated “these type of events would bring together participants from different institutions, to participate in varied fun-filled events and competitions, with an aim to empower students to showcase their skills and talents, interact with their peers, and gain invaluable insight into the process”.
Sharing the students, Dr. Ashok Daryani, Director, International Relations said “we are happy to see enthusiasm among the students for this event. The event brings together participants from various institutions, thereby providing an opportunity for knowledge exchange with each other also.
The day one ended with high energy and enthusiasm as the students grooved on star night by famous singer Ankit Tiwari. The 3-day extravaganza is expected to witness a footfall of more than 1.5 lakh students across the Delhi-NCR.
