Annual meeting of The Jat Sikh Council held at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, December 31, 2024: The Annual General Meeting of The Jat Sikh Council Jalandhar was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, in which a large number of founder and life members of The Jat Sikh Council participated. Executive Member, Jaspal Singh Waraich warmly welcomed all the guests.
It is noteworthy here that this council is a non-governmental organization providing financial assistance to the needy and talented Jat Sikh students, which has been working in this field for a long time. In this meeting, the report of the year 2023-2024 was presented and the proposal regarding the tasks to be done by this council in the year 2025 was also discussed.
On this occasion, Dr. H.S. Mann, President, The Jat Sikh Council informed that the Jat Sikh Council provides financial assistance to the needy and talented Jat Sikh students every year. He said that every year many deserving Jat Sikh students are able to continue their studies due to this scholarship. He said that Jatt Sikh Council gives this scholarship by identifying students with the help of principal and staff in schools and colleges. Last year 29 needy students were given scholarships and 20 cases are in the pipeline, which will be disbursed before March 31, 2025.
Dr. S.P.S. Sooch was honored by the Council and Dr. H.S. Mann, President, The Jat Sikh Council Jalandhar was specially honored by Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.
On this occasion, President of The Jat Sikh Council Hardeepinder Singh Mann, Lakhbir Singh Ghuman, Sarfraj Singh Tiwana, Harkaran Singh Mann, Sukhbahar Singh Waraich, Kashmir Singh, Joint Secretary of Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jaspal Singh Waraich, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh and Gulbahar Singh were present. Stage was handled by Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar. He appreciated Jatt Sikh Council for such a noble work.
