Excitement, jubilation and joy marked the occasion of the Annual Prize Distribution Function of Lyallpur Khalsa College wherein around 600 students of the college excelling in academic were awarded prizes.
Jalandhar, April 23, 2022: Excitement, jubilation and joy marked the occasion of the Annual Prize Distribution Function of Lyallpur Khalsa College wherein around 600 students of the college excelling in academic were awarded prizes.
Chief Guest of the inaugural session of the event was Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary College Governing Council whereas the valedictory session was presided over by Dr. Tarlok Singh Banipal, Dean College Development Council Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. Address the present, Dr Banipal lauded the efforts made by the college in promoting education and sports by the college.
The College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra highlighted the achievements of the college in Academics, Sports and cultural activities. He reiterated the commitment of the institution to quality education and all round development of students.
On this occasion, tokens of appreciation were awarded to as many as 18 teachers of the college for their academic achievements and outstanding contribution to research (Dr. Suman Chopra, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Dr. Arun Dev Sharma, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Narveer Singh, Prof. Gobind Ram, Dr. Dinkar Sharma, Dr. Raminder Kaur Bhatia, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur Sandhu, Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Dr. Manju Joshi, Dr. Jyoti Vohra, Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Dr. Minie Bhalla, Dr. Nitika Chugh, and Dr. Harjinder Kaur).
Five non-teaching employees were also honoured for their dedication and sincerity to the institution and their duty (Rana Ralhan, Supdt. Accounts; Surinder Kumar Chalotra, P.A. to Principal; Sandeep Kumar, Lab Attendant; Raj Bahadur, Mali and Ram Sukh, Mali).
The vote of thanks was made by Prof. Jasreen Kaur Dean Academic Affairs of the college. The occasion was witnessed by students and the staff of the college. The stage was well managed by Dr. Upma Arora and Dr. Nitika Chugh.
