Jalandhar, November 28, 2024: The Annual Sports Day, Atletico: 2024-25, was successfully organized across all five campuses of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Pre-School to Grade II, along with their teachers, making the occasion truly special.
The Sports Day featured a variety of exciting games and activities designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among children. Activities included Hurdle Race, Stick Race, Hula Race, Balancing Race, Pick and Drop Race, Backward Race, and Balancing Ring Race. The energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship displayed by the children were remarkable.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for young children to develop physical skills, build confidence, and learn valuable lessons about teamwork. Winners of various games were honored with medals in recognition of their achievements.
Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (CSR Director) emphasized that sports not only contribute to the physical, mental, and intellectual development of children but also boost their confidence. She highlighted how teamspirit fosters feelings of mutual love and brotherhood among children. Additionally, she emphasised on the importance of cultivating a sportsman spirit in children, especially in today's era where the excessive use of phones and gadgets hampers their physical and mental growth.
