Annual Sports Day held at Cambridge International Foundation School

Jalandhar, February 6, 2015: The Annual Sports Day was held on Thursday at Cambridge International Foundation School amidst cheering children and a fabulous backdrop of laughter and joy.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included the academic director Deepa Dogra and the Sports Coordinator for all Cambridge Schools; A.S.Sikand. Deepa Dogra highlighted the need for imbibing values of sportsmanship and excellence in everyday life, in order to emerge winners whenever life poses any challenges. The atmosphere was exciting as balloons were released into the azure sky and the Cambridge family was once again united by faith, love, hope and wisdom.

A special assembly was held and Sonika Jhikka the Sports Captain gave a motivating speech that lauded values of team spirit and camaraderie. There were track & field events where the students from the entire school participated .Our students namely Karandeep, Parteek, Sonica and Rhea stood up as winners in the 100 Meter Sprint, while Yuvraj, Karandeep, Monica and Rachel came up as stars in the event of Shotput. After completion of the athletic events proud winners were honoured by Director Deepa Dogra, Principal Meenu Huria, Rashmi Saini , Coordinator Monica Jouhal, Sports Director Sikand and Rohit and they received a thunderous applause from everybody too.
