Students of Holy Child School , Panchkula take part in annual sports day on Saturday.

Chandigarh, November 24, 2018: A potpourri of different dance forms, track events and fun games was presented by students in annual sports day of Holy Child School, Panchkula on Saturday .

Vishal Seth technical advisor-PWD, B & R Haryana graced the event as guest of honour.

The event began with the lighting of the torch followed by synchronized and steady march-past by all four houses-Altair, Sirius, Spica, Vega and oath taking ceremony by school captain, Saloni Manchanda.

Later, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) pipe band musical performance amazed the audience. It was a spectacular show presented by the 16-member ITBP band led by Maj. Divankar.

In events athletes competed with each other in 100m, 400m and relay races. The pre – primary and primary students enthralled the audience with their fun – filled hurdle races.

The students mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances in hoopla-ribbon dance, choi-kwang-do and calisthenic zoomba.

The pique of the show was the announcement of ‘Best House’ which was won by Spica House. The award for best March Past went to Altair House. Abhishek Sandhu of Altair House and Akshara Alawadhi of Vega House lifted the Best Sports Boy and Best Sports Girl trophy in boys and girls category respectively.
