Another drone movement spotted in Ferozepur Sector
The sleuths belonging to 136 battalion deployed near border out post Jagdish spotted the movement of another drone last night in this sector.
Ferozepur, November 4, 2022: The sleuths belonging to 136 battalion deployed near border out post Jagdish spotted the movement of another drone last night in this sector. Sources in the BSF said that the troops heard the humming sound of a suspected drone near BOP Jagdish along the Indo-Pakistan border. The BSF troops fired towards the drone with INSAS rifles and besides two Illumination bombs were also fired but in vain. Later, after the drone returned back towards Pakistan side, a massive search operation was carried out in the area.
The BSF officials said that the same kind of sound was heard by the villagers at Village Gandhu Kilcha also which is located at the distance of approximate 1200 meters from the international border.
Earlier, on October 28, the BSF had seized a consignment of weapons including three AK Assault rifles with six magazines, three Mini AK 47 rifles with five magazines, three pistols (Beretta) with six empty magazines along with 200 live rounds near BOP Jagdish. Another drone was spotted by the BSF troops belonging to 182 battalion near BOP Joginder in Ferozepur sector.
