ANOTHER FARMER COMMITS SUICIDE IN FEROZEPUR

FEROZEPUR, OCTOBER 18, 2018: A farmer identified as Kulwant Singh (45) son of Dalip Singh, a resident of Mamdot allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison. As per information available Kulwant was owner of 4.5 acre land out of which he had mortgaged 1.5 acre land. “Besides he was under debt of around eight lakh which he was unable to pay due to which he was under stress. Today morning he got up early in the morning and went to the fields and did not come back. When we reached there we found that he had consumed some poison”, said his brother Tara Singh. Kulwant is survived by his wife two sons.
