Chandigarh, August 14, 2024: The Department of Statistics organized an anti ragging awareness programme in the Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh on Wednesday.
Prof. Narinder Kumar, Chairperson, Department of Statistics along with research scholars Anupama Goyal and Versha Dwivedi made students aware about the dehumanizing effect of ragging.
This awareness programme included various events like Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Logo Making. Students actively participated in the events and familiarized themselves with rules/regulations/guidelines/code of conduct and anti- ragging measures.
The faculty members and all students of the department participated in the event.
