ANTI TERRORISM DAY OBSERVED IN LUDHIANA TODAY

Ludhiana, May 21, 2019: For promoting peace and communal harmony, anti terrorism day was observed in the district today. On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, District Public Relations Officer Ludhiana Mr Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal today administered oath to the staff during a function at Bachat Bhawan, here today. A large gathering of District Administration officials pledged to fight against all forms of terrorism at the Anti-Terrorism pledge function here. While speaking on the occasion, Mr Nathowal said that every year May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism day in to wean away the youth from terrorism and showing as to how it is prejudicial to the national interest. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Assistant Public Relations Officer Mr Puneet Pal Singh Gill, Deputy DEO (Secondary) Mr Ashish Kapoor, besides several others. A function was also organised at Civil Surgeon office, where Civil Surgeon Dr Parvinderpal Singh Sidhu administered oath to the staff.
