Retired Engineer from the Punjab Irrigation Department and Renowned Author, Kirpal Singh Dardi, passed away on March 7, 2024. Born in the Lyallpur District of Pakistan, in the Gojra Tehsil, he migrated to India in 1947. He served in various capacities within the Punjab Irrigation Department until his retirement in 1994. Throughout his life, he authored numerous books including "Dastan-E-Punjab", “Pannia Da Sankat" and "Punjab Da Batwara". His literary works are available on ecommerce platforms.

The final prayers (Antim Ardas) will be conducted at Gurudwara Santgarh, Opposite Sports College, Hardev Nagar, Kapurthla Road, Jalandhar, from 12 Noon to 1 P.M. on March 17, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Gurdeep Kaur, sons Sarabjit Singh, Ravinder Singh, Amarjit Kaur, grandsons Amitoj Singh, Kamal, Divyajyot Singh, Parul Mohindru, and Lovleen.
