Anurag Thakur represented India at 35th Session of Steering Committee

Dharamsala, February 19, 2016: BJP MP from Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), Anurag Thakur, recently represented India at the 35th Session of the Steering Committee of the Parliamentary Conference on World Trade Organisation at Brussels. He held meetings with Manjeev Singh Puri (Indian Ambassador to Brussels), Members of Parliament from the European Union and representatives from other countries. This was stated by Ragini Sabharwal, a spokesperson of Anurag’s office, through an email message.
She said that India is a Member of the Steering Committee of the Parliamentary Conference on World Trade Organisation and Anurag Thakur represented the views of the country during the talks "Making Trade Work for Development after the Nairobi Conference". This high level meeting of Parliamentarians and Country representatives was held in the European Union Parliament.
