Anurag Verma to be new Chief Secretary of Punjab

Chandigarh, June 26 (IANS) IAS officer Anurag Verma will be the new Chief Secretary of Punjab, succeeding V.K. Janjua, it was announced on Monday.
Verma, a 1993 batch officer, is currently serving as the state’s Home Secretary.
Janjua will superannuate on June 30.
