T Prasad, who guided the institute as principal from 1982 to 1993, did not just shape its future—he left an indelible legacy across the print industry. His visionary leadership upgraded countless government and university printing presses, and his reach extended far beyond NRIPT, as he imparted his wisdom to aspiring minds at Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (now MNIT), Allahabad. Today, his spirit continues to ignite the hearts of the next generation of print professionals, as this competition embodies the passion and drive that T Prasad championed—fuelling innovation, excellence, and unshakable dedication.

The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA), which proudly organizes this significant event every year, stands unwavering in its mission to inspire students to stay at the cutting edge of technological advancement and innovation in printing. This year’s competition reached its glorious conclusion during the International Conference on Sustainable Printing and Packaging, held in Ayodhya, supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

The prestigious Gold Medal and a prize of Rs. 25,000/- were awarded to Aparna Mishra by Prof. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari (Bihar). In his deeply inspiring address, Prof. Srivastava praised the relentless efforts of the Offset Printers’ Association and lauded Aparna for her outstanding achievement.
