Apeejay College of Fine Arts organises Educational Trip to Golden Temple

Jalandhar: The Department of Punjabi of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar recently organised an Educational Trip to the Holy City of Amritsar. The main aim of this trip was to acquaint our young students with the rich and varied culture of Punjab. In this educational trip, 45 students participated enthusiastically. They were extremely delighted to seek the Golden Temple and after seeking blessings, they visited the Jalianwala Bagh and learned a lot about the sacrifices and bravery of our martyrs. They learned a lot about Sikh Culture by visiting several historical places at Amritsar. During this trip, Assistant Professors from the Department of Punjabi, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Ms. Lovepeet Kaur and Ms. Anuradha enlightened the students about the rich folk-lore of Punjab.
Discussing about this trip, Principal Dr. Sucharita said that this educational tr4ip is an apt platform to acquaint our younger generation with the rich and varied culture of India. She said that Apeejay strongly believes in inculcating value education among students and linking tradition with modernity. She also thanked Dr. Sushma Shair, Head, Department of Punjabi for successfully conducting this trip.
