Apeejay College of Fine Arts conducts business plan competition

Jalandhar: PG Department of Commerce of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar conducted a Business Plan Competition. A total 12 teams from various departments participated in it.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma putting forth her views said that in today’s time to imbuild qualities of marketing, innovative presentations, out of the box ideas among the students is hugely essential. Such competitions serve this very purpose as they motivate them to think, plan and act. Mr. M. J. Kalra, Advisor, Department of Commerce at ACFA and Mr. Ashim Sondhi, Executive, PKF Computers Group act as the judges of this competition. Each team consisted of 2 members who presented their innovative business ideas.
The team presenting an idea on “Providing Housemaids” stood first whereas the business plans on “Handmade Jewellery” and “Biodegradable Sanitary Pads” stood second and third respectively. The winners with rewarded with certificates.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma congratulated the winners and Department of Commerce for successfully organizing the event.
