Apeejay Dwarka campus hosts ‘Synergy 2022’ annual inter-college festival
The Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) recently conducted the two-day annual inter-college festival ‘Synergy 2022’ at the Apeejay Campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.
New Delhi, March 18, 2022: The Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) recently conducted the two-day annual inter-college festival ‘Synergy 2022’ at the Apeejay Campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The fest offered students a platform to unleash their full potential by exhibiting their multiple talents in the field of performing arts and craft along with other creative and cognitive skills amidst a fun-filled environment.
The fest witnessed the participation of a large number of students from different institutions including Delhi University, Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, among others. Some of the popular competitions at the fest were - Ad Mad, Bulls & Bears, Hand Painting, Pot-making, Singing, Dancing and Rangoli competition, among others.
The inaugural addresses for the event were delivered by Dr. Alka Munjal, Director of ASM and Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC. “We are glad to host the 15th Synergy, the flagship fest of the campus. This is purely a student driven event and hence offers them an opportunity to learn management skills on-ground, which otherwise, they learn from the classroom. Through this, the students learn many managerial aspects including people management, financial management and operational management along with developing their social and emotional intelligence,” said Dr Alka Munjal, Director, Apeejay School of Management mentioning the essence of the fest.
Commenting on the success of the event, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC, stated: “the students organised and participated with overwhelming enthusiasm in our event- Synergy 2022. This was also attended by various other colleges and students participated in various events and won prizes as well.”
The first day saw an enthusiastic participation from the students and their energy was visible in the various activities they participated in.
Summarising the two-day fest, Leena Raheja, a first-year student with ASM said, “Synergy 2022 brought a spirit of celebration and competitiveness in our souls. It was a perfect blend of fun with knowledge. The two-day event was packed with enthusiasm – all of us participated in management games and cultural events. We will cherish these moments as we created so many memories.”
Another first-year student, Shriti Goyal, said, “Synergy 2022 was a wonderful experience. From flash mob to alumni meet, all the events were well-synchronized and coordinated. I thoroughly enjoyed the events and I am so looking forward to more such events in the coming months.”
In the Pot Decoration competition, Himanshi Rawat from ASM secured the first place while Tanya Jain from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University secured the second position. Students of AIMC, Sushmita Roy and Amitabh Mukherjee, aced the Solo Dance competition securing first and second position respectively. The Street Play competition was won by students of Sri Aurobindo College and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. Several more competitions were organised inside the campus.
The second day of the annual fest witnessed a fashion show by the students followed by faculty members from ASM and AIMC. Aditya Anand Jha from ASM and Diksha Rathore from AIMC were honoured as Mr and Ms Synergy 2022. For the Mr and Ms Personality Category, Devansh Sethi from AIMC and Kajal Kumari from ASM were the winners.
The two-day annual fest concluded on a high note with ‘ASM Rejuvenion 2022’, an alumni meet organised at the college campus, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
