Jalandhar, August 24, 2024: Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar organised a Special Class Assembly on the occasion of Krishna Janamashtami under the kind stewardship of Principal A.K. Sharma.
The assembly conducted by the students of class I began with a Bhajan dedicated to Lord Krishna ‘Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram..” followed by an inspiring thought, quotation and a poem. Solo and Group Dance performances by the students was appreciated by all.
The little ones of primary section looked cute as they were dressed up as little Krishna, Radha and Gopis. A video based on the birth of Lord Krishna was also shown to the students.
The pre-primary students also looked adorable as Kaanhas and Gopis thereby adding splendour to the occasion.
Principal A.K. Sharma, Vice Principal Aarti Shorey Bhat, teachers and students sought blessings from Lord Krishna placed in a cradle.
Principal Sir in his address talked about the life journey of Lord Krishna. He emphasized that this sacred occasion brings people together and serves as a symbol of unity and faith. He advised students to perform their duties honestly by following the path shown by Lord Shri Krishna - the path of truth.
