Apeejay School secures third place in Zonal Kho-Kho Competition
Under the esteemed guidance and auspices of Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson of Apeejay Education, Co-Founder and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, Chairperson and President of Apeejay Stya and Swaran Group, and Chairperson of Apeejay Stya Education Research Foundation, the students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, have once again demonstrated their excellence by securing third place in the Inter-School Zonal Kho-Kho Competition in the U-14 girls' category.
Jalandhar, August 17, 2024: Under the esteemed guidance and auspices of Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson of Apeejay Education, Co-Founder and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, Chairperson and President of Apeejay Stya and Swaran Group, and Chairperson of Apeejay Stya Education Research Foundation, the students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, have once again demonstrated their excellence by securing third place in the Inter-School Zonal Kho-Kho Competition in the U-14 girls' category.
The Apeejay team showcased remarkable skill and sportsmanship throughout the competition. They clinched victory in their first match against Government Model Senior Secondary School, Uggi, by an innings and 3 points. Although they narrowly lost the semi-final to KPS School with a close score of 12-10, the team bounced back with determination, securing third place by defeating the host team, St. Soldier Divine Public School, with an impressive margin of an innings and 3 points.
Deepti Kaushal, the coordinator of the school, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the winners and their coach, Yadwinder Gupta, for their outstanding performance and dedication. This achievement adds another feather to the cap of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, reflecting the school's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a spirit of excellence in sports.
