Apeejay Stya University receives ‘Best University for IP Facilitation’ Award
Recently, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) won the prestigious ‘Best University for IP Facilitation’ award. It was conferred by ASSOCHAM during 2nd IP Excellence Awards on 10 November 2022 at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi.
Recently, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) won the prestigious ‘Best University for IP Facilitation’ award. It was conferred by ASSOCHAM during 2nd IP Excellence Awards on 10 November 2022 at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi.
The ASSOCHAM IP Excellence Awards recognise and honour educational institutions, organisations, and individuals for their pioneering efforts in facilitating innovations. The award was received by Prof. Raj S Dhankar, Vice-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University and Prof. Parikshit Vashisht from School of Engineering & Technology, ASU.
On receiving the award Prof. Raj S Dhankar, Vice Chancellor, ASU said, “This is yet another feather in the cap of Apeejay Stya University. The award is a recognition of our efforts in facilitating an innovative platform for research and creation while unleashing the innovative capabilities of students and faculty members and fostering a healthy Intellectual Property (IP) ecosystem in the country.”
ASU is a seat of global learning that offers rich opportunities for innovative teaching-learning, creativity and research across disciplines. It aims to bring about transformation of society through value-based education, man-making and nation-building by blending the dual identities of a technology and research-based university with a Liberal Arts institution. The University has nine schools and three Centres namely, the Centre for Liberal Arts, Design Innovation Centre and Apeejay Incubation Centre approved by MSME. All these schools place their students for internship and hands-on training in the concerned industries.
