Applications for admission to about 3210 seats in 66 courses of PG, LLB and BPEd till June 30: Sunit Mukherjee

The admission process for postgraduate (PG), LLB Honors three-year and BPEd programmes in the University Teaching Departments of Maharishi Dayanand University and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram is in progress. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for Post Graduate programmes upto June 30.

Rohtak, June 28, 2024: The admission process for postgraduate (PG), LLB Honors three-year and BPEd programmes in the University Teaching Departments of Maharishi Dayanand University and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram is in progress. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for Post Graduate programmes upto June 30.

MDU Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee said that students can apply online on the MDU website till June 30 for admission to about 3210 seats in 66 courses of PG, LLB and BPEd. Admission will be based on the entrance exam.

Mukherjee said that from this session three new PG courses - MA Hindu Studies, MBA Business Psychology and MA-Guidance and Counseling have been started. There are 30 seats available in MA Hindu Studies, 60 in MBA Business Psychology and 30 in MA Guidance and Counseling.

It is noteworthy that in MDU's UTD seats are - 30 in MA Education, 50 in M.Ed, 40 in M.P.Ed, 100 in B.P.Ed, 60 in MA English, 60 in M.A. Hindi, 40 in MA Journalism and Mass Communication, 75 in MA Sanskrit, 15 in MA Music Vocal, 15 in MA Music Instrumental Sitar, 15 in MA Fine Arts Drawing and Painting, 50 in MA Yoga Science, 50 in MA Defense and Strategic Studies, 60 in MA Economics, 50 in MA Geography, 70 in MA History, 45 in M.Lib and Information Science, 60 in MA Political Science, 40 in MS Psychology, 50 in MA Public Administration, MA 50 seats are available in Sociology, 25 in MSc Forensic Science, 120 in LLB Honors three year, 30 in LLM and 60 in LLM SFS.

There are 20 in MSc-Bioinformatics, 20 in Biotechnology, 20 in Agricultural Biotechnology, 30 in Medical Biotechnology, 40 in Biochemistry, 40 in Botany, 35 in Environmental Sciences, 20 in Environmental Biotechnology, 20 in Food Technology, 30 in Genetics, 20 in Microbial Biotechnology, 25 in Microbiology, 40 in Zoology, 30 in Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, 40 in Master of Tourism and Travel Management, 180 in MBB, 60 in M.Com, 10 seats are available in M.Pharmacy-Industrial Pharmacy, 15 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, 10 in Pharmacognosy, 10 in Drug Regulatory Affairs, 90 in M.Sc. Chemistry, 60 in MCA, 40 in M.Sc.-Computer Science, 40 in M.Sc. Computer Science-Data Science and Machine Learning, 30 in M.Tech. Computer Science, 60 in M.Sc. Mathematics, 120 in M.Sc. Mathematics FFS, 60 in M.Sc. Physics and 50 seats in M.Sc. Statistics.

Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee said that there are 18 seats in M.Tech. Biotechnology, 24 in M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering, 24 in M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), 18 in M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering, 24 in M.Tech. Manufacturing and Automation, 24 in M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, 24 in M.Tech. Structural Engineering 24 seats are available in M.Tech Power Systems. MDU-CPAS, Gurugram has 180 seats in MBA, 30 in MBA Executive Evening, 120 in LLB Honours three-year, 45 in LLM Shift I and 45 in LLM Shift II.
