Applications Sought For Special Course For Visually Impaired Students At Braille Bhawan


Ludhiana, May 28, 2015: A two-year special course for visually impaired students will be started at Braille Bhawan, Jamalpur, here. This course has been started jointly by the Centre Government';s National Institute for Visually Handicapped, Dehradun, and Punjab Government. Applications have been sought for this special course whose duration would be of two years.

While giving information, Course Coordinator of the institute informed that this course can be done after completing class twelfth and it is affiliated by the Rehabilitation Council of India. This course is considered at par with Elementary Teachers Training Course and once after the completion of this course, the students can work as Special teachers as well as Elementary Teacher.
