Ar Sanjay Goel writes to Punjab CM for Better Liveability Required in Punjab

Ludhiana, February 23, 2025: Former Director of Ludhiana Smart City Ltd & a former Chairman of Indian Institute of Architects Punjab Chapter Ar Sanjay Goel, has written among others to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann regarding `Better Liveability Required in Punjab’.
In an email message, he has written that almost whole Punjab is suffering due to encroachments, poor implementation of building byelaws, least coordination among various development agencies, traffic congestion etc.
Combined role of all development agencies under Local Government and police is most important to make whole built environment of Punjab more liveable. Everyone specially senior citizens, patients and students are suffering most on roads as congestion is increasing day after day and there is no strictness to remove encroachments and to implement building byelaws.
He suggested that SPVs in every city must be made for smooth functioning on all fronts including future planned development.
He said with our joint efforts we all can make Punjab cities like planned capital city of Chandigarh.
