Arbitration proceedings meeting held under chairmanship of DC Surabhi Malik yesterday

Ludhiana, May 20, 2022: The 186th proceeding meeting of district Level Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council was held under the Chairmanship of Surbhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana alongwith other members of the Council, member Secretary Rakesh Kansal, GM DIC , Ludhiana , LDM Ludhiana Sanjay Kumar Gupta and Advocate Himanshu Walia. The meeting was also attended by Neeru Katyal, LAC, LIT as Nodal Office . About 124 cases were enlisted for today’s proceeding meeting, out of which 15 cases were allowed, 1 case is dismissed and 3 cases were withdrawn by petitioners.
Rakesh Kumar Kansal, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ludhiana further apprised that special efforts are made for amicable settlement of dispute and platform is provided to address the issues related to delayed payments of Micro & Small Enterprises as per provision of MSME development Act 2006. He further apprised that Conciliation proceedings are conducted on every Tuesday, and Arbitration proceedings are conducted on every Thursday .
Advocate Himanshu Walia member of District council, disseminated that stake holders should take advantage of this quasi-judicial Authority and also apprised that the award pronounced by this District council has overriding effect as per provision of MSME Dev Act 2006 .
