Architects interacted with DC on World Architecture Day 

Ludhiana, October 7, 2024: Architects under the leadership of Ar Sanjay Goel, Technical Expert - Ludhiana Smart City Ltd, on Monday, interacted with Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Jitendra Jorwal today on the occasion of World Architecture Day and discussed points to make Ludhiana a better liveable city.

According to Ar Sanjay Goel, the points shared with DC included road network to be upgraded including new elevated roads, all entry points must be very attractive, horticulture/ landscaping in the city must be world class for long term like Chandigarh. He hoped that new international airport will start soon and renovation of railway station will be completed soon.

Further, he opined that all services must be updated including water supply, sewerage, storm water etc and Buddha darya must be cleaned. He suggested that “we must follow Chandigarh also which is not only our capital city but one of the internationally known smart city”.  He also opined that waste management must be of higher standard at par with developed countries.
