Armed Forces Flag Day being celebrated at Ludhiana on Monday.
Ludhiana, December 7, 2015: Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated at District Sainik Welfare Office, Ludhiana today. On this day, our fellow countrymen remember the sacrifices made by our army personnel for our country and donate huge amounts of funds under Armed Forces Flag Day fund for the families of our martyrs, army personnel disabled during war and for war widows. This day is celebrated every year on December 7.
While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajat Agarwal appealed to all city residents to wholeheartedly donate for the fund. On this occasion, Mr Bharpoor Singh from District Sainik Welfare Office, Mr Minhas Singh, Mr Harmail Singh, Mr Sukhpal Singh, besides several others were present.
