Armed Forces Flag Day celebrated in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, December 10, 2019: Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated at Ludhiana today. On this day, our fellow countrymen remember the sacrifices made by our army personnel for our country and donate huge amounts of funds under Armed Forces Flag Day fund for the families of our martyrs, army personnel disabled during the war and for war widows. While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal appealed to all district residents to wholeheartedly donate for the fund. On this occasion, District Sainik Welfare Officer Cdr (Retd) Mr Baljinder Singh Virk and several others were also present. Deputy Commissioner also released "Ranjodhe", a special annual issue on services being provided to the ex-servicemen.
