Principal Gurwinder Kaur from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Miller Ganj, Senior Lecturer Hardeep Kaur, teacher Sarvjit Singh and Sukhdev Singh today carried surprise check at Vajra Army School (Army Public School) Dholewal. 

Ludhiana, November 19, 2015: For promoting Punjabi language, the Punjab government has strictly ordered that all government and private schools in the state should teach Punjabi language effectively. The Education Department of Punjab government is carrying surprise checks in different schools of the state.

      Today, Principal Gurwinder Kaur from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Miller Ganj, Senior Lecturer Hardeep Kaur, teacher Sarvjit Singh and Sukhdev Singh today carried surprise check at Vajra Army School (Army Public School) Dholewal. It was found that Punjabi language was not taught in the school.

      On the occasion, School Principal Babita Malik informed that their school is not affiliated from any school education board. She informed that fee is being collected from students and the school is being run from those funds. She informed that around 550 students from class nursery to class fifth study in this school and children of army personnel study here. She said that the school is being run on CBSE pattern.
