Army Recruitment rally at Army Public School (Primary Wing) Ground from 02 Dec to 08 Dec 2018

Jalandhar, December 2, 2018: An Army Recruitment rally is being organized at Army Public School (Primary Wing) Ground from 02 Dec to 08 Dec 2018 for recruitment of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management and Sepoy Pharma categories by Recruiting office (Headquarters), Jalandhar Cantt for the candidates belonging to Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar Districts.
Briefing newsmen at site, Brig Jagdeep Dahiya, Deputy Director General Recruitment (Punjab and J&K) informed that approximately 15000 candidates will be screened. Screening process consists of initial verification of documents physical fitness tests and physical measurements. Candidates who qualify will undergo medical examination and medically fit candidates will appear in common Entrance Examination (CEE) scheduled to be held on 27 Jan 2019 at the Rally site. Candidates who come in merit in the CEE will be inducted into the various arms and services of the Army.
Brig Jagdeep Dahiya thanked the Deputy Commissioner and Police Commissioner for their support in security arrangement and crowd control. He expressed deep gratitude to Local Army Formation and Civil administration for their support and cooperation in the smooth conduct of the Recruitment rally.
