Art, music and literature add colour to life and teach how to live life. Vice Chancellor of MDU, Rohtak Prof. Rajbir Singh expressed this while inaugurating the two-day Rang Srijan program in the context of Rang Mahotsav on Monday. VC Prof. Rajbir Singh said that programs like Rang Srijan enhance the creative skills of the students and provide the right platform to bring out their talent. He said that life can be made happy through art and such programs give practical knowledge of life to the students. Vice Chancellor hoped that Rang Mahotsav would take the form of a national festival in the future. He congratulated the Visual Arts Department for organising this event.

The VC praised the art paintings, wooden arts and wall paintings prepared by the students and encouraged the participants. HOD of Visual Arts and Coordinator of the Rangsrijan program Sanjay Kumar, gave the welcome address and informed about the activities being organized in Kalasrijan. He said that workshops on painting, print making, POP carving and photography will be organized under Rangsrijan. Students of the Department of Visual Arts, Rahul and Krishika, shared their experiences.
