As exam fever rises, Deshna Dugad of Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible shares her study mantra

Deshna Dugad is a talented 15-year-old young artist portraying the role of Rashi Patel in Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible. In the show currently, Rashi is seen standing tall as the pillar of support for her father, Dilip Patel, as he strives to become a better person. Despite facing numerous challenges, Rashi remains steadfast in her belief in her father's journey towards redemption.

1.    How did you manage your time between your studies for the board exams and your shooting schedule for Pushpa Impossible?
During my board exams, I managed my time by taking holidays from the Pushpa Impossible shoot before exams. The production team gave me specific study slots of 2 to 3 hours during shoots, which helped me balance both.

2.    What strategies do you use to stay focused on your studies amidst the demands of a busy shooting schedule?
Honestly, I didn't have any particular strategize. I just stayed focused on clearing my 10th exams. I didn't go out much in the last two months, just focusing on my studies and shooting for Pushpa Impossible.

3.    Are there any particular subjects or topics you find challenging to balance alongside your acting commitments?
Maths was challenging while juggling everything, but I stayed strong and aced the paper.

4.    How do you ensure you're adequately prepared for your board exams while giving your best performance on the set of Pushpa Impossible?
To prepare for both board exams and shooting, I did a lot of sample papers. It helped me identify my weak areas and stay focused.

5.    Have you received any support or assistance from your school or tutors to maintain your academic progress during filming?
My school was incredibly supportive. My teachers were always available to help with any questions or concerns. I'm grateful for their support.

6.    What advice would you give to other young actors who are also facing the challenge of balancing their education and acting careers during important exam periods?
To other young actors balancing education and acting careers during exams, I'd say prioritize wisely. Make a timetable and stick to it without any procrastination. That's what helped me through.
