Ashesh Agrawal joins as GM RCF Kapurthala
Kapurthala, October 26, 2021: Ashesh Agrawal has joined as General Manager Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala today. Prior to this, he was working as Adviser/ Environment & Housekeeping Management in Railway Board.
After his schooling in Mumbai, he studied in IIT/Mumbai for one year but meanwhile he was selected by UPSC in the SCRA Exam and joined at Jamalpur in 1982.
He has worked in many important posts including Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer (PCME) Western Railway and Divisional Rail Manager /Secunderabad (Secunderabad is one of the biggest divisions of Indian Railways), three tenures in Railway Board, Chief Workshop Manager/Jhansi Workshop (biggest wagon workshop of Indian Railways). He has also worked as Director (Policy) of Food & Public Distribution in Government of India.
Ashesh Agrawal is highly educated having degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication degree as well as a MBA degree.
He has attended short term Management Training in U.K.,Italy and U.S.A as well as in Anti Corruption Academy, Luxemburg, Austria.
He has special interest in Total Quality Management and Sports & Cultural activities.
It is to be noted that V M Srivastava, General Manager, Modern Coach Factory, Rai Bareilly was looking after GM of RCF after the transfer of Ravinder Gupta as Director General/Safety at Railway Board, New Delhi.
