Ashu dismisses allegations of misbehaving with youth, alleges Akali conspiracy
Dakha, October 12, 2019: Food and Civil Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan Ahshu today dismissed the allegations levelled against him by a youth that he misbehaved with him inside the election office of the Congress party. “My name is deliberately dragged into a dispute between two party workers to dramatise and sensationalise the issue”, he said. Responding to the video clips being circulated on the social media, Ashu said, “The very fact that the incident was instantly videogrpahed in a planned and proper way, proves it beyond any doubt that it was done under a clear conspiracy to defame us.” Ashu said, if one watches the video clip closely it is too obvious that the aggrieved youth is made to mention his name deliberately. “Otherwise the aggrieved youth was naming some other party worker with whom he had some issues and somebody who was making the video mentioned him my name and he started taking my name after that”, Ashu said, while urging people to closely watch the video. The Minister said, it clearly revealed the frustration of the Akalis that they had stooped to this level to defame the Congress leaders. “There were dozens of people around when this incident happened and my named was deliberately dragged into it for political reasons”, he said.
