Assurance of safety of ballot boxes needed from EC: Virbhadra Singh

Dharamshala/Jawalamukhi, November 5, 2017: HP CM Virbhadra Singh wanted the assurance from Election Commission of the security of the VVPAT machines for the period between the voting and the results. Speaking in an election rally in favour of Sanjay Rattan in Jawalamukhi on Sunday he said, "There is period of month and a half for the VVPAT machines to be kept in vigilance as the same would be opened after elections in Gujarat. The period is long. I have full faith in election commission but ???? ???? ???? ?? ?? ?????? ?? ( there are many mischievous elements). So, we need assurance of the safety of the boxes.”
Referring to the speeches of PM in Himachal Pradesh, Singh said that its standard has been deteriorated. He said the language being used by Modi, doesn’t match with the dignity of the chair. From this, one can imagine the standard of the party too, he said.
