Sony SAB's 'Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi, Naye Kissey' continues to keep the audience hooked with the daily struggles and triumphs of the quintessential middle class Wagle family. In recent episodes, the Wagle family is shocked when Atharva (Sheehan Kapahi) returns home from college in pain and the family suspects food poisoning. However, at night Atharva’s condition worsens and he slips into a coma, leaving his parents Rajesh (Sumeet Raghvan) and Vandana (Pariva Pranati) extremely worried.
In the upcoming episodes, the doctor informs Rajesh and Vandana that Atharva’s health condition is due to a severe poisoning. Worried about his condition, Atharva’s parents visit his college to investigate the issue and get to the bottom of how Atharva got poisoned. While this is going on, his friend Vidyut suddenly recalls that Atharva drank a juice directly from a can and this leads them to the discovery that Atharva suffered rat urine poisoning as the can was left uncovered in an open place.
Sumeet Raghvan, who plays the role of Rajesh Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya, said, "Parents always strive to protect their children, but sometimes the dangers are hidden in the most unimaginable and simplest acts. This unfortunate incident is a wake-up call, not just for Atharva but for all of us, to be more cautious and aware of our surroundings. Often, we don’t realise the numerous health risks we are exposed to due to unsanitary conditions around us and through these episodes, we aim to create more awareness about such issue.”
