Ludhiana, December 23, 2012: Patient Balwinder Singh – 35 yrs old male with hospital (Unit No C7418577) was admitted through casualty with alleged h/o fall from height with h/o injury to sustained fracture of right upper limb and brachial artery injury on December 18, 2012. Emergency Exploration and repair of brachial artery was done and his right upper limb was saved he now requires close observation and hospital stay for about 15 days for further treatment and management.
The approximate cost of the treatment is Rs. 4 lakh.
He is a daily wager labourer who is not able to afford to pay bill amount. “Kindly consider him for some financial aid”, said Dr. H.S. Bedi, Head, Department CTVS, CMCH, Ludhiana in a statement here today.
Patient is in dire need of financial help and any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated.
