Dharamshala, November 7, 2024: On the sixth day of the Paragliding World Cup, pilots from 23 countries took to the skies, racing through a challenging route from Billing to Ahju, Ahju to Joginder Nagar, and back to Billing. With high-flying performances and intense competition, the event has drawn global attention.

Thursday’s flights saw 65 participants vying for top positions. The USA’s Austin Cox remains the frontrunner with a remarkable 2991 points, securing his position at the top. India’s Ranjeet Singh has climbed to an impressive second place with 2871 points, marking a significant improvement in his performance. Poland’s Damar Capita holds third place with 2844 points.

In the women’s category, Poland’s Joanna Kokot leads with 2486 points, while Germany’s Daria Altikova and Brazil’s Marina Oleksin follow in second and third with 1329 and 1232 points, respectively.

The team category has seen a shake-up as well. India’s "Dream to Fly" team has claimed the top spot with 7112 points, pushing the Para Billing team to second place with 7086 points. The "Biological A" team, previously in first, now sits in third with 7042 points.

With only a few days remaining, competitors are pushing their limits as the race intensifies. The Paragliding World Cup has showcased the skill and determination of each pilot, making this year’s event one of the most thrilling yet.
