Avinash Rai Khanna disperses cheques worth Rs 52.76 lakh for development works

Hoshiarpur, February 22, 2014: BJP MP Avinash Rai Khanna on Saturday dispersed cheques worth Rs 52.76 lakh for various development works to be carried out in the Hoshiarpur district. On the occasion, Khanna said compared the Congress-led UPA Government with the predecessor NDA Government at the Centre. He said the country had witnessed overall development in regime of the NDA government where series of scams had occurred in regime of UPA-led government.

Punjab State Forest Development Corporation chairman Vijay Sampla and others including Sanjiv Talwar, Vijay Aggarwal, Honey Sud, Lovely and Harbhajan Pinta were present.

Punjab State Forest Development Corporation chairman Vijay Sampla was the chief guest in Mount View Convent School, Jahan Khelan in Hoshiapur district. Speaking on the occasion, he spoke about the importance of sports in life of students. BJP MP Avinash Rai Khanna’s Political Secretary Sanjiv Talwar, the school chairman Hardev Singh Kancal, school director Hardev Singh, Mamta, Sandeep Kaur, Sheena Bedi , Sat Paul Kalia were among those present.
