Avon Cycles CMD Onkar Singh Pahwa launches new models of cycles at Ludhiana on Thursday.
Ludhiana, February 21, 2013: AVON, a well renowned name in bicycle Industry, has launched new models on Thursday.
These models are in `Booster Series’ for teenagers with trendy designs and sturdy look; Paragon and Falcon.
Besides, three models MAGIC, PASSION, SKYLAND equipped with latest Shimano gears, Alloy Rims, Disc Brake and Suspension were also launched. These models would enrich the company’s existing Hi-Power Series.
The company’s CMD Onkar Singh Pahwa said more models would be added to Booster Series in the coming months.
Pahwa told that the newly launched models would be on display at Bike Expo-2013 from February 22- 24 at Government College for Girls grounds here. “Afterwards, these models will be available at our dealers' outlets throughout India”, he revealed.
Pahwa told that AVON had installed 'State of the Art' bicycle assembly plant having automated wheel building machines imported from Holland.
AVON had started its journey in 1952. At present, it is one of the leading bicycle manufacturers and exporters of India, catering the domestic as well as International demand with dealers network spread all over India and across the globe.
In the year 2012, the company had in its fold 130 stunning models of bicycles. Apart from this, AVON has seven models of Electric Vehicles and twelve of Health Equipments (Exercisers) which are also being catered in the domestic market with good demand and acceptability.
