Ludhiana, January 21, 2019: Increasing urbanization has accelerated the demands for newer alternative of health foods. In today’s world, beverages are no longer considered simply as thirst-quenchers; consumers look for specific functionality in these drinks, which forms a part of their lifestyle. ICAR-CIPHET is committed and working consistently to meet the food needs of the nation by developing and promoting health food products. In order to create awareness on health products under ABI project, ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana has conducted awareness cum training program on groundnut/soybean processing during 16-17 January 2019 and 30 participants attended the same. Dr.D.N.Yadav, Pr. Scientist FG&OP Division has imparted hands on training to participants along with lecture. Dr.Ranjeet Singh, PI, ABI & I/C ITMU coordinated and facilitated this event and assured them that all possible help will be extended for establishment of agro food processing business.
