‘Awareness lectures’ held for people who get themselves vaccinated against Covid
The first awareness lecture was held by Department of Dietetics
Ludhiana: In Dumra Auditorium of DMCH, Ludhiana awareness lectures were held today for general public, who visited Dumra Auditorium of DMCH to get themselves vaccinated against COVID.
The first awareness lecture was held by Department of Dietetics on the theme of ‘World Obesity Day’ falling on 4th March, every year. The theme of “World Obseity Day” this year is Every body wants Everybody
In her lecture, Dietician Shaveta Batta informed the people to take balanced diet for leading a healthy life. She stressed on the intake of salad and high-fiber diet. Eating a high-fiber diet can help lower cholesterol levels and prevent constipation, said Shaveta Batta. She also advised people to keep themselves well hydrated by taking plenty of water, which is essential to keep away many physical ailments
Another lectured conducted by Yoga Consultant Dr Sanjeev Singh Rawat enlightened the audience about taking some basic stretching exercise which builds greater overall flexibility and relieves stress. Dr Rawat told the people to bring positivity in their thoughts by doing Yoga and meditation in their daily routine.
