Awareness lectures held on prevention of spread of covid-19 pandemic
Initiative taken by DMCH and HDHI in coordination with project of Mission Fateh-Government of Punjab
Ludhiana: In an endeavour to educate the people of Punjab about COVID-19, an awareness drive was conducted by DMCH and Hero DMC Heart Institute (HDHI) in coordination with the project of Mission Fateh-Government of Punjab. The lectures were under the guidance of Secretary Prem Kumar Gupta.
Faculty form Department of Anatomy, DMCH today visited Kundan Vidya Mandir School in Civil Lines and addressed the staff and teachers about the symptoms and prevention of the disease and how to get help. This was followed by an interactive session where the queries and misconceptions about corona virus disease were discussed by Dr Bishav Mohan.
To strengthen the concept, a Public information booklets were presented to the Principal for circulation. The people were encouraged to join in our mission to break the chain of the disease by spreading the message in the society. In this regard, KVM School chose ambassadors among students, who will be spreading the message.
Earlier also, the faculty visited Delhi Public School and Maa Sharda Vidyapeeth (under aegis of NGO Nobel Foundation).The team consisting of Dr Kirandeep Kaur, Dr Sonia Singh, Dr Seema Gupta and Dr Hitant Vohra visited and the people were encouraged to join in our mission to break the chain of the disease by spreading the message in the society .
