‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebration at GNA University
Faculty of Hospitality at GNA University organized various activities in the celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ i.e. 75th Year of Indian Independence.
Jalandhar, August 16, 2022: Faculty of Hospitality at GNA University organized various activities in the celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ i.e. 75th Year of Indian Independence. Faculty of Hospitality under the leadership of Dr. Deepak Kumar, the Dean Faculty of Hospitality celebrated ‘Azadi ka Amarit Mahotsav’ by organizing Tricolor theme based lunch for the entire family of GNA University. The objective behind organizing this gala event was to celebrate Independence day with great fervour and revisit the feelings of patriotism afresh in the minds of the youth.
Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor was the chief guest of the event and commenced the event on a sweet note by doing the cake cutting ceremony designed in tri colour as deep rooted respect for the nation. The entire arrangements like décoration, food, beverages and dessert were based on the theme of the tri colour.
The celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was a great learning experience for our students. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University said, “Such events play significant role in students’ learning experience and builds confidence to join the hospitality industry and serve their country with complete hospitality.”
Dr. V.K. Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Raj Kumar Mahajan, the Registrar and Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics and other dignitaries from GNA University also graced the event.
