Jalandhar, April 15, 2024: Students at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the eve of his 134th birth anniversary.
In a special programme organised by the P.G. Department of Political Science of the College, students remembered Dr. Ambedkar through poems and speeches.
Speaking on the occasion, the college Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh highlighted the contribution of Dr Ambedkar towards social equality and justice and also towards strengthening democracy in India.
Dr. Anu Kumari Head PG Department of Political Science welcomed the Principal and highlighted the vision and views of Babasaheb.
The occasion witnessed the presence of Vice-Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur, College Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, and senior teachers of the college.
