Chandigarh, 21 July 2016: On the eve of 109th Foundation Day, Bank of Baroda launches TravelEasy Foreign Currency Prepaid Cards in Australian and Singapore Dollar. Any resident visiting abroad for pleasure, business, medical treatment or study can be issued a travel card.

The card is safe, secure and easy to carry as compared to currency or travellers cheques and is acceptable at approximately 20 million merchant outlets worldwide (except India, Nepal and Bhutan).

The cardholder has a facility to withdraw cash from ATM, apart from using it at merchant outlets & e-com. Exchange rate is fixed at the time of card issuance and thus minimizes risk of currency fluctuations. The card is valid for three years and can be reloaded. On return, unused amount can be refunded to the card holder on demand.
